I would have bought 10 boxes instead of 6. But when I was printing the coupons, my ink started running out and 4 of the coupons, you couldn't read the numbers under the barcodes. So I played it safe and didn't try to use them. =( Bummer, but I got a total of 8 boxes of cereal for only $8 this week, Not Bad!

I called CVS today about the Moisture Shine Lipstick that I was overcharged for.
First, they told me that the Moisture Shine was not one of the products included in the ECB deal.
So I asked why it was advertised at $5.99 with 3ecb.
He then seen that it was in the ad and told me he would add the ecbs onto my account.
I then asked about the $3 overcharge.
I told him that I didn't want the lipstick for $8.99 even if I got 3ecbs.
I was starting to get a little upset, so I just asked if I could just return the lipstick for my money back.
He said, Yes I could, if it hadn't been used (which it had not)
He then said that he would still credit my account for the 3ecbs for my trouble!
I thought that was very nice!
So I returned the lipstick, got $9.71, even though I had used a $3/2 coupon. And I will have $3ecbs printed on my next receipt.
CVS sure likes Happy Customers!

I am having issues (likes some other boggers) with the Test Run areas having items ring up wrong. The Neutrogena Moisture Shine was suppose to be $5.99 with a $3ecb return. Not only did it ring up for $8.99, but I didn't get my ecbs. I will be calling the 1-800 to get this cleared up and get my money back.

A whole lot of the items on my list were not stocked. Dang those storms lately that kept me at home!
What I did get:
4 Softsoap, on sale for 99cents each - $3.96
2 Ajax, BOGO - $1.79
1 Playtex Sport - $4.99
Coupons used:
4- 35cent coupons on Softsoap
1- $1 on Playtex Sport
I had 2- 20 cents coupons on the Ajax, but the receipt showed one as a coupon, one as a purchase, which essentially means neither came off. I don't know what happen.
Used $5.79ecb & $2.96 OOP
Got back $3ecb for the Playtex
Savings of $16.18
**After reading some other blogs about the $2/$10 and realizing that the coupon said, One per customer, not One per transaction, I've decided not to use it anymore. I just don't feel it's right.

This was my very first trip to CVS since I got into coupons. I was really disappointed. They didn't have half the products on my list. So I will have to find another CVS to get my Kellogg's products for the Kellogg's rebate. [Yes I know I bought Kellogg's products at Walgreen's yesterday, but they all have to be in the same transaction, and CVS has the products I want to get, just not at the store I visited today] 4 of my coupons wouldn't go through, so she finally had to manually put them in. I was in there forever! And I used 4 BOGO coupons along with the BOGO deal on the Covergirl makeup, so all 8 should have been free. But the way the lady did it, I paid $3 more than I should have. And I didn't notice the difference until I got home. Oh well, a lesson learned I guess.
So here's what I got:
My Total saved - $88.90
My Total ECBs - $12.50
My Total OOP - $24.09
**Would have gotten the Pert Rebate - Buy $5 worth of Pert Plus and/or Sure products, get up to $5 in FREE school supplies - but I neglected to read it in it's entirety until I got home and realized you had to buy the school supplies, then they send the refund. At least I got all the Pert products for free after my coupons!! Another lesson. At least it wasn't a big mistake!
